Orthodox Fellowship Meeting - South Africa

His Grace Bishop Antonious Markos invited the Orthodox Clergy and Orthodox Ambassadors of South Africa to join us for a night of fellowship.  The event took place at St. Mark Coptic Orthodox Cathedral.  Nine Orthodox Churches were represented.

The night began with Ethiopian Orthodox Chanting.  His Grace then gave a short lecture on the Coptic Church.  Fr. Menas, representing His Eminence Archbishop Seraphim of the Greek Orthodox Church, spoke about there experience and relationship with the Coptic Church in South Africa.  Fr. Marcos Kobe spoke about how the Coptic Orthodox faith came to South Africa and how it was preserved.

Afterwards everyone shared in an Agape meal together.  The food was prepared by the Coptic and Ethiopian congregations.
