September 2004
His Grace Bishop Antonius Markos travelled to Namibia on September 29th 2004 to complete the acquiring of a land in Namibia. The land is situated outside of downtown Windhoek. Windhoek is the capital city of Namibia.
The Coptic Church has had a presence in Northern Namibia since 1998. This is an opportunity to establish the Mission in the south and into a more densely populated area. The ability to purchase this land was made through a generous contribution. However much more is needed to complete the church.
His Grace also took time to visit a seminary school in the area. His Grace gave two intensive courses on the Coptic Orthodox Church. As the Bible says God's word does not return back empty.
So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void Isaiah 55:11
